We went to my parents for Christmas Eve as usual. It was a nice calm, low key Christmas Eve. Each year we always do a gourmet meal, gingerbread houses, learn about a country and read a book. But this year my mom had carpal tunnel surgery on her hand so we changed things up a bit. All the kids and my dad took charge and did dinner. We banned the gingerbread houses since we already did one on our own. We more so were able to enjoy each others company which was wonderful!
My mom had all the kids open up a gift together and as we were each opening up our gift we pulled out a vest or polo of which was not cute at all and kind of looked at her and looked at each other and were rather confused as to why we got these ugly clothes. My mom finally gave in and laughed and said that it's too hard to find clothes for each of us picky kids so instead she got these lovely clothes instead. Here's all of us in our beautiful vests and polos.

Christmas Day we woke up, and tried to open up presents as quickly as we could so we could be to Grandma and Grandpa's house for breakfast. But as we started to open presents, Brody would open one and didn't care to open the rest, he only wanted to play with that one toy. As we encouraged him to open up each present we finally made it through, I know crazy that you have to convince your child to open their presents. Cooper just wanted to eat the wrapping paper, what a fun morning with our two cute boys. I love the holidays with my family. Then we headed over for breakfast and opening more presents of which Brody did the same thing, opened one present and didn't care about the rest. It's always wonderful being with family and those you love.

Now Cooper has his very own cars, ha ha we'll see how long that lasts
Last Saturday we went to Adam's friends dads funeral of which was such a beautiful funeral. I know that's probably odd to say it like that but it really was such a nice funeral, it was focused on the life of Richard Loser rather than the heartache of him being gone. What a strong family. As we were driving home we saw a bunch of people sledding down a huge mountain and I got this brilliant idea to go and join them. So after dropping off Adam's parents and sister, Adam's dad loaded up the 4-wheeler and we headed on down to the mountain to do the cheater way of sledding/tubing. The whole family came which was even more fun. This was the best kind of sledding because instead of spending your time walking up the hill we got to enjoy going down the hill more. Then afterwards we had Ron pull us on the tube on the flat part. We had so much fun that we are going to do it again this Saturday. Maybe I will get more pictures this time and hopefully it will be light out and a little warmer.
