I don't even know where to start so I'm just going to make a small post so I don't get overwhelmed with everything I need to be posting about. First of all my computer tower isn't working so I can't download all my pictures from the last couple months onto my main computer so I figured why not download some to my laptop then that way I can get a few pics on my blog.
What a busy summer as always, always on the go and never stopping. First of all we went to Florida and Georgia for 9 days with my family and some family friends. The boys did so good on the plane and Brody still keeps asking if we can go back to Georgia and fly on the plane. We stayed in a hotel with a huge area for swimming, lazy river, and hot tubs and beyond that area was the ocean within walking distance, it was beautiful! We took Brody and Taya to the Magic Kingdom and left the babies at home with Becky (family friend) and her 7 month prego daughter Katelyn. We'll just say that one day with two little ones gave her a small dose of what motherhood will be like LOL.
A couple weeks ago we went to Freemont Lake with Adam's family and of course it was a blast! We went boating, skiing, tubing, surfing, wakeboarding etc. Brody and Jackson were such good boys and got along so well. They loved being out in nature and exploring all the time. Cooper on the other hand was great as well considering the fact that he had a fever the whole time and his poor little nose wouldn't stop running. We thought it was teething but it ended up just being a nasty cold. He also loved exploring especially since he is walking.
Adam, my sister Tarasha and I all participated in a mini sprint on July 31 which consisted of swimming 300 yards, biking 5.5 miles and running 1.55 miles. Tarasha did it last year and convinced Adam and I to do it with her this year. What great motivation to get out and really workout and not having excuses just because I have kids. I did lots of training with the boys and they were definately troopers. On top of all that it was motivation to lose weight which I did lose almost 30 pounds. Adam has also lost about 25 pounds. I was so proud of all three of us for finishing. We all just wanted to finish it but we all came in top places. Next year I would like to do the whole Tri but don't take my word for it.
Last Saturday my beautiful sister Demarie got married to a wonderful man, Dave. He is such a sweet guy to her and I can already tell they will have a good marriage and treat each other well just by the way he treats her already. It was a beautiful day despite the rain that came and went and cleared up for the ceremony.
We love playgroups with friends, going to the pool, parks, Sonic slushies, bbqing, boating, wave running etc. Amongst all the busyness we still manage to make time for the small things and being with just us. We love our family and are so grateful to have two healthy boys. They are so much fun and we love watching them play with each other, they are such good buddies. Brody is already sticking up for his little brother. Life couldn't be better! And to top it off I received a huge bouquet of flowers today from my wonderful husband. Red and yellow gerbera daisies and yellow roses, they were absolutely beautiful! I sure love my husband and how he makes me feel so loved! He is amazing, I couldn't be happier!
