All about Brody!

Brody is growing up so fast and it seems like even more recently he is talking so much more and it's actually making sense, at least to us. I think he knows this baby is coming and he is getting prepared too. I just thought I would dedicate this post talking about Brody's accomplishments, new words, interests etc.

Brody knows so many words, here are just a few that we think are fun: lettuce, cractors = tractors, daddy vroom = motorcycles, temple, Jesus, chup = ketchup, bye bye, nigh nigh, I want down, I want some, Jeep, faffles = waffles, boons = balloons, jis = juice, oh balls (Adam taught him this one), oh no = no no, Jeep, we practice words all the time with Brody and he is doing so well at repeating them after us, when he doesn't know a word he says dobi-dee. He knows almost all the animal noises. I could go on and on but we'll stop there for now.

When Brody is upset and I can't figure out what he wants and keeps crying, I start singing "I love to see the Temple", he stops immediately and after I am finished singing he claps his hands, and does the sign for more or else he will say "Temple" so I will keep singing the song. Whenever Brody sees a picture of a temple or the temple itself he says Gandma. The reason for this is because everytime we drive to Grandma's house we drive by the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and we sing "I Love to see the Temple".

When I get Brody in the morning, he has to grab all of his blankets and his two bears and I have to carry them downstairs so he can have breakfast with everything in his crib and if I don't he will walk back upstairs and cry because he wants his blankets.

Brody doesn't like TV at least not yet which is a good thing, but he loves to watch motorcycle and tractor videos on You Tube. He could watch these all day.

Random:
Brody loves to give tight squeezes and kisses. He loves baby Kiya and loves to hold her and give her kisses. I sure hope he does the same thing when his baby brother comes. Brody loves stickers. Adam took him to the store the other day and they gave him a sticker. Brody had to show everyone his sticker on his hand as they were leaving the store. Brody loves to play with Taya and he loves to wrestle with Jack. He could wear his hat, gloves and boots all day if we let him. I just worry about overheating. Brody notices Jeeps and tractors and will say Jeep/tractor whenever he sees one. Brody loves to laugh at himself! Grandma V. gave Brody some pajama bottoms and whenever he wears them he points and says Gandma. After Brody woke up the other day I asked him who he dreamt about and he said, Dem (for Aunt Dem) and cractors (tractors).

I can't believe my baby is going to be two in a couple of months. I ask him how old he is going to be and he says tree for three! A few different people have told us that he doesn't look like a little boy, he looks like a little kid now. I have to say it's true, he is getting so big and growing up so fast. We are so lucky to have him in our family! I really don't know what we would do without him. It's funny how he can make make me laugh even when I'm in the worst possible mood. I love him to death and couldn't ask for anything more!
