I think it's about time I post something about Thanksgiving and what's been going on in our lives. Sorry I've been a slacker lately. As you can see from my last post, I started making watches and selling them. I started it as a hobby but then friends and family told me to try and sell them so here I am starting to sell them. They are kind of like the Bumbles watches but Bri's version. If anyone wants to be a host of a watch party, let me know there are good perks! As for Thanksgiving, we went up to my parents house where we had a yummy feast with most of my mom's family. We then headed up to Martha's house to our surprise of gifts. Martha buys enough gifts for everyone in the family then we play a game and open gifts and steal them. It's really fun, Adam got a really nice electric razor and I got a few CD's. So these aren't just cheap little gifts, they are good ones. Then we had pie and looked at pictures from when we were little. It was a lot of fun looking back on our memories expecially with everyone there. Friday we took my two cousins shooting. Besides it being so cold and our hands freezing, we had a good time!
On Sunday we went to Adam's parents to celebrate Thanksgiving with them and the rest of the family. Dinner was of course yummy, we did the traditional stuffing, potatoes, turkey etc. We had a great time! I love Thanksgiving because not only do we get together with family but it's a great time to ponder all the things we are thankful for. I have a list but I won't go into details because I'm feeling that this post is already rather long. But I do have to say that I'm thankful to have a family and I'm more especially grateful to be a mom. It's such a blessing! Brody keeps me on my toes and even when I'm having a bad day, he seems to make me smile and laugh. He must take after his dad. Those sweet little spirits and I'm so lucky that I will have two soon!
We set up our Christmas the day after Thanksgiving and deciding to splurge and buy new lights for our house. Not only were our icicle lights starting to fall apart, we have been wanting the big lights for a while so we bought them. We got our tree and finished decorating it last night. Brody gets so excited for all the lights in our house. He plugs in the tree, our small trees and our garland over our railing. It's so cute! I thought last year was fun having him around for Christmas but it just keeps getting better, I love that kid! Here's just a few pictures of this past couple weeks.
