Last weekend Adam and I dropped Brody off at my parents to be watched for two days. It was our first time leaving him and yes I was a little nervous to leave him. Although he did great at least that's what my mom said despite the fact that he woke her up at 6 a.m. and didn't want to take naps. Oh well...so then we were on our way down to Moab. Just the two of us. We had a blast! It was nice being just us. We camped and went on some trails. We met four people who we hung out with all day on Saturday, rode some trails, played on some hills, ate dinner. They were a lot of fun! The first night that we camped we had quite the night. With all the loud thumping from the music, foul language, and a guy yelling "Stella" all night, let's just say we didn't sleep much so the next night we moved as far away as we possibly could from all the partiers and drunk people. Let's just say we investigated and found a good spot and slept great! We planned on going on a hike Sunday morning but after waking up on Sunday, we decided we missed our little man too much so we packed up the Jeep and were on our way to see Brody and spend Easter with him. Holidays are way more exciting now that we have Brody!

Congratulations! Your first get-a-way sounds like it was a huge success! I love that you guys decided to pack it up early-- Brody is pretty dang cute! Id miss him too ;)
LOL...it's amazing how your life is never the same and that you wouldn't ever want it to be.
It sounds like you did have a good time though!

Sounds like you had a great time. Love the pictures. Adam was always the one to be daring.
That's so neat that you guys went down to Moad together; Joe and I have been wanting to do that for a while now. I'm a little bit of a baby though and can't bring myself to leaving Adam overnight. But, now that I see that it turned out great for you guys maybe I'll be a little more inclined to doing it myself.
By the way, great picutres of Adam four wheeling...it kind of makes me want to go out and by a Jeep!
