Can I just say how much I love Christmas and all that goes with the holiday season! I love everything about it: cookie decorating, gingerbread houses, decorating our tree, shopping (I know even with all the crazies out there), driving around looking at lights on houses, Temple lights, driving in the snow, opening up gifts from the "Many days of Christmas from my parents" then seeing Brody's face each time he gets to open one, watching Cooper try to open up gifts under the tree LOL, reading Christmas stories, remembering why we celebrate, and of course the best of all the feeling of Christmas! LOVE IT! So far we have already decorated cookies, decorated a gingerbread house, decorated our tree, done tons of shopping, making wheelies in the snow, and opening up gifts each day until Christmas.
We have good news!!! HA Ha No we aren't pregnant. We have sold our house. If everything continues to go well, we will be out on the 28th of Christmas which means we will be packing up Christmas day! We are excited for a new adventure in our life, although we don't know where our next house will be...so cheers to finding a new house!
Here's a few of our fun activities
Brody's cookie
Taya's cookie
Cooper and Kiya licking and eating the frosting...of course!
I love Brody's face...it says "No I didn't eat anything!"
Don't you love our finished product LOL It all fell apart, but we had fun and that's all that matters!
Brody took the next three pictures, he had so much fun taking his own pictures and I think he did a great job!
Brody's own Christmas tree! I loved how he strategically placed each ornament in their own spots!
My really good friend Beth and I ready to go out for the night. We needed to get some Christmas shopping done. We had a great time like we always do! It's great to have a friend knowing they will be there for you through good times and bad and I can definately say she is one of a kind, love her to pieces!
This is Elfabet, Brody named him! He came with a book called "The Elf on the Shelf" He is quite the helper to Santa and reports if the boys are being naughty or nice. He also moved around the house so he can keep an eye on the boys. Brody wakes up each morning and sees if he moved to another place. Brody has been really good to not touch our cute little Elf or else the magic disappears and Elfabet does too!

Field Trip & The Falling Snow
Can I just say how much I love these boys!!!
Our field trip this month was a visit to the Post Office for Joy School. One of the cute teachers DeLynne had the kids write themself a letter (mostly color them) then take it to the mailbox with their cute homemade delivery paper bags and put them in the mailbox of which they ended up getting a few days later. The kids were so thrilled to see how the post office works. When I asked Brody what he learned he said that a truck delivered mail and took some mail away. So cute to see that he understood something from our tour.
Cooper and MaKenzie snuck a kiss while no one was looking :)
I bought Cooper's boots and apparently they were too stiff to walk in. He didn't quite understand the concept of walking heel to toe. So when we let go of his hands he face planted it on the snow covered concrete, poor kid. Although it was a little funny!
We love snow days because after playing in the snow we come inside, have some hot chocolate and lay back on the couch!

Disney on Ice
I really wanted to take Brody to Disney on Ice this year so I invited my sister Tarasha and niece Taya and we all went and had a blast. Brody was glued to it for about an hour and the last half hour he got a little wrestless, should we say sugar high? Brody kept asking where Mater and Lightning McQueen were, too bad they weren't there, hopefully they do another one with those characters, Brody would probably love it even more. I was so grateful Brody and I could have a little date! I sure love that kid!

3 Brody Incidents, some of many!
As I sent Brody off to Preschool this morning, I came home and got Cooper out of his car seat and low and behold I feel something in his legs of his zip up pj's. I unzip them and what do I find? The magnetic leap frog toys for the fridge that I asked Brody and Cooper to pick up and put on the fridge. Apparently hiding them is the same as picking them up.
As I was cooking dinner the other night I got two limes and set them on the counter, then turn around and they are gone. I ask Brody where he put them and he giggles and says, "In Cooper's diaper". I don't believe him then proceed to ask again, his response with giggling , "In Coopy's diaper." I then go look into Cooper's diaper and look what's there two limes. Cooper kept trying to sit down and couldn't quite figure out what was in his diaper.
Brody said he needed to go pee so he went upstairs and the next thing I know it the toilet is overflowing. I ask Brody what happened and he replies, "I put just a 'lil bit of toilet paper in the toilet." I think what really happened is he put a little bit from the toilet paper roll and watched it unwind as he flushed the toilet. So what do we have...a huge mess in the bathroom and leakage in the kitchen (luckily most of it was on the kitchen floor).
How can you not love a kid who does all these things. Even at times may make you very angry, I still love him and I'm glad I can laugh at it all when it's all over with. He sure brings lots of fun adventures into our home and I'm so grateful for him!

hApPy HaLLoWeEn!
Ward Halloween Party!
Giraffe, Frog, Dorothy, Scarecrow, and our cute "adopted" (not really but I wish) daughter Ionna in a princess costume
I have the best mother-in-law EVER! She makes our awesome costumes. We can choose whatever we want and she just puts her mind to work. She put Adam's costume together in about 4 minutes with sewing the hay, and making his hat. She made my costume which was borrowed from my sister-in-law and of course she made Brody's frog costume, so cute! Cooper's we just borrowed thanks to the Browns! I wanted to all dress up like the Wizard of Oz but having a 3 year old made things a bit different. I wanted him to be a lion but he insisted on being a frog, and I would've had Cooper be a flying monkey. Such a cute idea thanks to my friend Malissa but oh well maybe next year! Ya right! Brody will even be older than and really know what he wants then LOL!
A few of Brody's friends, including Cooper :)
The boys getting ready to go Trick or Treating out in the rain.
Brody is going to Preschool and we are doing Joyschool with him as well. So he goes to school 4 times a week. I thought it might be too much for him but he loves it and looks forward to going to school almost everyday. Here is Brody's first day of Preschool.
Our Joyschool class in their Halloween costumes
The first snowfall and of course the boys wanted to be right out in it. They didn't care if they were wet or cold. The only thing no snow gear only snow boots for Brody. It's all in storage (since we are trying to sell our house) so we will be taking a trip there ASAP.
Moab
We spent the weekend in Moab with our friends Beth and Josh and NO KIDS! We had a blast! We took our Jeep down and went on some fun trails. We missed the boys like crazy but it was nice to have a weekend with just the two of us!
Delicate Arch
My really good friend Beth and I
Our good friends Beth and Josh!

Happy 6th Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary babe! I can't believe 6 years have already flown by. Time sure flies when you're having fun and when you have the best husband ever! I sure love ya and appreciate all that you do for me!
Bountiful Baskets
I have ordered from Bountiful baskets three times now and can I just say that I absolutely love it! For those of you who haven't heard about it, all it is, is volunteers helping out so we can get fruits and vegetables cheaper than what you would get in the grocery store. Most of it is local as well, I love supporting our local stores! All you pay is $15 for a basket full of goodies. This week I ordered tortillas on top of it for only $10 and I got so many tortillas so my friend Melissa and I are splitting it and I'm taking half of her bread of which they are both delicious! If you want to check it out go to bountifulbaskets.org. This week I got :
2 Acorn squash
5 pears
7 apples
concord grapes
green grapes
bananas
romaine lettuce
broccoli
3 cucumbers
tomato
mushrooms
cantaloupe

Who runs out of gas!
That would be us, yep that's right we ran out of gas coming home from Lava Hot Springs. Brody was sleeping and we wanted to make it to Brigham City before stopping and getting gas so we wouldn't wake him up. Well little did we know we didn't judge quite well and we ran out of gas way sooner than we had expected. But we made an adventure out of it. It was nice to have our trailer so we could eat lunch, color and play inside. My parents stopped for lunch so they were about a half hour behind us. We'd like to think of it as being watched over because the next gas station wasn't for 10 more miles. We were grateful to them for saving the day by bringing us some gas. While we were waiting for them a truck pulled over with a trailer and they had a flat so that was a little entertainment.
As we continued our way home traffic slowed down and we could see flames up ahead on the shoulder of the freeway. A car was on fire and the firefighters were putting it out. But because of how windy it was the fire spread to the shoulder and was continuing down the freeway for about a mile or so. It was way neat to see but a little scary because it was so close by. We could feel the heat as we drove by. What an adventure. We love adventure. I'm so grateful that neither Adam or I look at those kind of situations and get upset, instead we embrace the adventure that comes out of it.
Well Lava was lots of fun, we try and go either once or every other year. We went down the river which was flowing incredibly fast. Many of us got a few bumps, bruises and scrapes but who cares that's not going to stop us. Brody went on the tube with Adam but until a part came that he and Adam almost tipped it scared him so he got off and I took him back to camp with Nanny and the other kids. Then we continued for some more rides down the river. We went to the big pool and played for awhile until we had to go home. We also went to the hot pots, love that place it's so relaxing. Despite the very hot pools the kids loved it. All four of the kids were sick at one time which was kind of a bummer but we made it through and none of the adults got sick.
Poppy getting the fishing poles ready to go fishing with Taya and Brody. Brody was so excited to go fishing it didn't stop talking about it the whole time.
DINOSAUR MUSEUM
Our friends Ryan and Melissa invited our family to go to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving point with them. Makenna couldn't stop running around she was so excited to see everything, funny girl. My boys were also loving every minute of it as well. Cooper especially loved the sand to play in and dig for bones. We had a great time and are grateful they invited us.
