Happy new car for us!

This is our new car. We are so excited we finally found our car. It's only taken 3 1/2 weeks to find it but yeah we did it. We couldn't decide on what kind of car we wanted so once we decided we found it in 2 days. It's a 2007 Hyundai Tucson, it's a crossover so not as big as an SUV but a little bigger than a car which is just what we wanted! Yeah for us! We have been borrowing Adam's parents Jeep for the past week so thank you, thank you and thank you! You two are so generous and giving, thank you! I guess we took for granted what it was like having two cars.

Brody and Taya's sleepover

This is our new Jeep stroller so I can take Brody for walks when the snow melts more. It even has shocks on it :) I'm so excited for it because it's a much smooth riding stroller than our other one. It may look like a double stroller but it's not, Taya wanted Brody to come and sit with her.
Grandma with the grandkids. Grandma came to visit with us on Saturday while Taya was here. Good thing she came because having two kids ten months apart can be quite the job especially when Brody has a blowout and it takes two parents to take care of it. Thanks Grandma for your help!
We took Taya to church with us and she did so good! She made a new friend who she played with during Sacrament meeting. I took her to nursery and when I left she only cried a little bit thanks to the nursery leader who occupied her really well!

My little niece Taya came to spend the night last Saturday with us. Brody just loves Taya, he loves to follow her around everywhere, he's so happy with her at our house, it's someone new to play with. Thanks for coming and playing with us Taya, can't wait to see you again!

First professional haircut on Tuesday!

I decided to take some pictures of Brody before I cut his hair so then I can send a cute picture of him before I make a disaster of his hair to Good Things Utah. Some of you may know that Adam and I have cut his hair a few different times and they have all been pretty bad. I'm going to go get Brody's 1 year pictures done soon so I got thinking why on earth would I cut his cute long hair, why not get it done professionally? So I made the call and we are taking Brody to get his first professional haircut on Tuesday, I can't wait. Maybe after watching his hair get cut, I can attempt again. We'll see. My mom keeps telling me to not cut it because he looks cute with long hair but I think what she really means is don't ruin his hair again.

It's playdate time!

We just love having playdates especially with Claudia and Adam! We have so much fun when we get together. It's great for Claudia and I to have an "adult conversation" and it's so fun for our little boys to play together. They are so close in age (only 2 months apart) so really close, they are such good friends! They share pretty good now, we'll see as they get older. The boys love to dance, hopefully I will have a video of them dancing soon! Thanks for coming over we had a blast! Can't wait to get together again!

Car situation...

We got a call from the insurance company saying that they are going to total out our car, which is good, we were hoping for that. So pretty soon I'm going to have to say good-bye to my little rental car, the PT cruiser. It's been a fun little car to drive. I'm just so grateful they gave us a car, you really take advantage of what you have until it's gone.

Their little baby Harbor is so precious, I forget what it's like to have a newborn, things change so fast, it's amazing!

Brody loved playing with Hurley their dog and Hurley liked to lick Brody's head. On the way home we had to stop at Adam's work to pick up the Jeep and Adam told me to drive over the snow mound, this is what happens when you listen to your husband...you get stuck. Oh well, the joys of having a Jeep you're going to get stuck.

Brody tends to get a little bored being in the car so we play lots of games, here is is playing patty cake when you "throw it in the oven". He's so much fun! He makes us laugh everyday!

As some of you may know, Brody decided to stop taking his bottle and pretty much stop drinking anything so this is one of the ways to give him water! He also loves jello, which is good because it has about 95% water in it.






Getting excited for summer, can't wait for flip flop season!

Having fun with our friends!

We had some friends over this last weekend to make pizza's, not only did we have lots of fun but we invited the best pizza makers in town. I should've taken a picture of the pizza's, they were the best. Fletcher, Kamey and their kids Katelyn and Mason used to live in our ward but moved down South so we had a little reunion with some of our ward friends! We sure miss them but had a good time reminiscing, hopefully we'll be able to get together soon! Brody and Mason were little buddies, they liked to dance holding onto the gate, it was really cute! Brody loves having people over because it's a change and kids are more fun than mom and dad!

My car accident

Yes I got in a car accident tonight, I am just so grateful Brody was not with me. Everyone was ok in the 4 car pileup. Yep that's right, 4 cars. I was driving on I-15 going about 40-50 mph when all of a sudden everyone stopped. I stopped in time to miss the car in front and the Durango behind me also stopped in time but the car behind him did not. The front car drove away with a few scruffs but the rest of us had to get towed. This is my first big accident so it was quite a shocker, luckily everyone was okay. The one thing that I will miss the most is my bluetooth earpiece. It was on my ear before the accident and I don't know where it went from there. Adam came and picked me up and we followed the tow truck with my car on it, Adam searched the car high and low and wasn't able to find it either. So sad. Oh well but on a positive note, if my car is totalled (which is most likely to happen) I get a new car, yeah!

Brody has this new thing where he loves to rub his face in yours. It reminds me of my cute sister, Demarie who loves to rub her face in her husbands facial scrub! I guess Brody's taking after you Aunt Dem!

So much snow!

We got so much snow, it's unbelievable! This picture doesn't even do justice. It's the back of our patio with a chair upside down. I will post a better picture later. This was the biggest storm we have had yet. We got about 11 inches of snow but there was a snow drift which made other areas look like it snowed about 2 feet. Adam was supposed to go shovel sidewalks at the church today but no one could get in due to all the snow we received. Adam went out and shoveled our neighborhood sidewalks and driveways and Brody and I played inside. Our nice neighbor had a plow on the front of his truck so he plowed all of our circle which never gets done because the city doesn't do it. So we are so grateful to all of our neighbors who help us out!

As soon as Taya took off her sock, Brody put it in his mouth. Taya saw Brody do this so she did it as well. They are such cute little buds! Brody love to chase after Taya.
